Feb 1, 2014 7:46 PM in response to PonPavelby ChrisSantos,On my iPad air, I had issues having to always reconnect wifi manually any time I restart or it goes into sleep mode. But since I disabled Bluetooth wireless has been working well.

Feb 18, 2014 8:44 PM in response to Parthelonby Woodeye Doit,I shared my experience on this issue and within 3 minutes Apple removed it because it wasn't "constructive". I will just say that I am very disappointed with Apple. You might also search other forums for this issue as it seems to be widespread.

Feb 18, 2014 9:05 PM in response to ChrisSantosby Woodeye Doit,Not that I am suggesting such a thing, as I know the rules of this forum, but I did notice that on another forum, someone mentioned that it may be time for a class action lawsuit. Me, personally, I would just like Apple to fix the problem. I hope I am not being too inflammatory.

Feb 19, 2014 6:36 AM in response to Parthelonby wseanzy,I have a 2011 iMac that is using a LAN connection and a 2012 MacBook Air that's on wifi from the same router. Last night i update only the Macbook Air to Mavericks, the install was clean. immediately I incurred the wifi issue but even WORSE it also affects my internet connection on the LAN line when the MacBook Air is turned on. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the wifi, turned off bluetooth on the Air, all to no avail. I'm quite surprised that such a widespread issue has yet to be addressed.

Feb 19, 2014 7:27 AM in response to Parthelonby mcgalb,Thank you for posting this. I have had trouble with internet connection, along with Aperture and Photoshop unexpectedly shutting down, since upgrading to Maverick. I never attributed the internet trouble with the recent upgrade but am guessing you are right. Will continue to read to see how others are resolving this.

Feb 19, 2014 9:49 AM in response to wseanzyby Wookie99,Apple...... Ditto! PLEASE HELP!
I see nothing in you Beta release notes on 9.2 to address this. My Wifi is crap. -
Feb 19, 2014 10:25 AM in response to Wookie99by Eric Root,Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
Or you can use your Apple ID to register with this site and go the Apple BugReporter. Supposedly you will get an answer if you submit feedback.

Feb 19, 2014 3:33 PM in response to Eric Rootby eggplant72,I went into my local Apple retailer and spoke to the tech behind the counter about it. He stared blankly and denied any knowledge of a Wifi issue with Mavericks. I referred him to this messageboard.

Feb 19, 2014 3:36 PM in response to eggplant72by wseanzy,I did the same to the Apple Store Genius here in Tokyo last night. Very disheartening that they are unaware and or semmingly so. Ugh...

Mar 6, 2014 3:03 PM in response to wseanzyby eggplant72,I give up. I've ordered a new MacBook Pro as I can't live without a reliable Wifi connection. At least this new model will be covered by warranty. Will sell the old one for scrap (or whatever). Will install Windows with Boot Camp if necessary.

Mar 6, 2014 3:04 PM in response to Georgios82by Old Toad,This is a user to user site. You need to contact Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html to let them know of your problems.

Mar 11, 2014 3:50 PM in response to Parthelonby honeylea,Thanks for posting! I was beginning to think my new MacBook was going funky! I rarely download anything on my computer so I was very surprised to notice a WiFi issue (didn't think I got a bug or something). I have a connection that hooks up automatically but whenever my computer is sleeping and I open it back up, it won't recognize the WiFi unless I restart the machine. But my computer won't respond when I use the menu bar, so I have to manually hold the power button to shut it down. Once I get it back up, it connects to WiFi with no problems, but freaks out because I manually shut it off. Its driving me NUTS. This is my first Mac and up until the upgrade the Mavericks, I felt like it was the right choice. Now, I am not so sure. :/
How can we fix this?

Mar 13, 2014 3:55 AM in response to honeyleaby eggplant72,I've received my new MacBook Pro and the Wifi is working perfectly (so far). This strengthens my suspicion that this is some wireless issue with installing Mavericks on an older generation MacBook.
