Q: Using Airdrop

My wife and I have identical iPads with the most up to date software.

In control center, she does not have an airdrop icon, but I do. We cannot find any differences in our settings everything looks the same.

Can anyone point us in the right direction to correct this problem?

    Hello Vic Chip,

We've an article that contains useful information and tips that can help get AirDrop working.

    Troubleshooting AirDrop

Verify that your iOS device supports AirDrop and is using iOS 7:

    • Ensure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on.
    • When using Contacts Only, if you aren't able to locate a nearby user, ensure that both of you are signed into an iCloud account.
    • If you still can't locate a nearby user using Contacts Only, consider setting AirDrop to Everyone.
