Old mac

Hi just wanted to ask. I have a mac that is almost retro for how old it is .. From what i know i had it for like 5 years has os .5 2.5 duo whatever ..250 gig .currently not working for no doubt need of softwear upgrade ..is it worth to keep this one repaired and upgrades or to buy new one i have the whole i pads n pods n plugs n junk .. Any advice would be great !!!

Are you referring to the MacBook Pro listed below your message? If so a 2008 would have at least Mac OS X 10.5.x installed when new. Do you have the original installation disks that came with the machine? Also is there any indication of battery life? Not working means it will not boot up?


Try plugging in the power adapter and reset the SMC.
