iPhone connection to imac iphoto

I have an imac running Snow Leopard. I also have an iphone 5 with ios 7.0.3.

Previously I could connect the phone to the mac and it would be available as a device in iphoto. No longer!

Any tips to get this going agin please? Very frustrating having to email all photos from the phone to load them onto the mac.

It may not be the case for all iPhone users after upgrading to iOS 7.x.x, but I had to authorize my MacBook Pro after installing the new iOS version. Maybe you should go to the Store menu in iTunes, and check if your Mac is authorized or not. If not, well, then, authorize it... 😝

After that, you may have to restart iTunes.
