Correct Apple ID, cannot be used to unlock this iPhone.

Apple ID's are needed to activate, not "unlock" a phone. What exactly are you trying to do?

Ask the owner of the phone when it was originally activated for the correct ID and password

Love how everyone assumes you either stole or bought the phone second hand. It's possible that Apple themselves don't have a solution to this problem.

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. No must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

So what is the issue? Type in your Yahoo address Apple ID and password to unlock the device.

Then put in the Yahoo address then. I'm not sure what the problem is.

TThe issue is that none of the apple IDs will unlock the phone. I have their passwords,and I have logged to iCloud.com/#find yet the device is not listed there.

It may or may not appear under the Yahoo Apple ID in iCloud. Depends on whether you removed it or not.

Have you logged the Yahoo Apple ID into: Apple - My Apple ID and tried to change the password, then tried that new password out on the device?

I Have logged on and changed both passwords and I have them. When you attempt to unloc the Activation lock by an Apple ID with the wrong password, it tells you as much. When you use the correct Apple ID and password combination, but not the one locking the device, it rejects it and gives you the message, 'xxxx cannot be used to unlock this iPhone' . This is the error I'm getting and it is startling because I have done resets before so I'm certain there was no other Apple ID linked to the phone

I Have logged onto iCloud.com/#find and tested both apple IDs. No device is linked to any of them

I have the same problem after the last update... You found a solution yet ?
