I just got Apple TV. It works great with my PC, but doesn't work with any of my Apple products, Iphone 5, Ipad Air, Ipad 2

an appletv can work 1 out of 2 ways with other devices it can
access an shared itunes lib om a computer running itunes
and Airplay which mean it can be used as remote speaker and video displayer (on ios devices and osx devices which support the feature)
so the appletv can't access the shared lib of your ios device because ios devices does not have shared libs
