iMac very slow after "upgrading" to OS X. Anyone else experience this? Solutions(s)?

yes, done all the repair disk crap, loaded 12 Gs of memory, etc etc. but the maverick is still a slow piece of crap. Mac should be ashamed of themselves......fix it already..
