Q: screen zooms on ipad from keyboard

it seems that when i type quickly i instigate a screen zoom that i can't undo. i have to reboot to resolve.

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 7.0.3

Hi sean444,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like an Accessibility feature such as Zoom may be turned on. I would check the settings for Accessibility to see if any are turned on:

iOS: Configuring accessibility features

If none are on, I would also try a restart and possibly a reset to see if the issue persists:

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

When I type slowly and deliberately it won't happen. The tap that sets it off is always a space bar rap. When the screen zooms, I can move it to be able to get to what's not visible. When I hit the home button it stays zoomed all the way back to the home screen. It's useless in this mode so I have to reboot. Insane.
