Importing Keywords from Aperture Videos?

I have a bunch of videos in my aperture library. These videos have certain keywords that I have applied. When I open imovie and navigate to Aperture Videos I cannot search by these keywords I originally applied in aperture. In fact, when I select the keyword filtering pane I find no keywords listed. Is there a way to import the keywords I applied in aperture to imovie?

Am I encountering the lack of keyword information because aperture and imovie cannot share this information for a video clip? Meaning, keywords entering for a video clip in Aperture cannot be viewed when opened in imovie and vice versa?
