Hi, when i send my girl friend a message from my mac it goes to both her computer and her iphone in the same feed that we have been texting eachother from for ever.
When she does the same to me its not working as well. When she messages me from her computer it comes in as her icloud address. It goes to both my phone and my computer, just in the wrong feed. How do we get hers to come in that same feed that we text in? Thanks
So i know on her computer in messages > preffrences > accounts her phone number is the one selected at the bottom where it says start new conversation from. What/where would i be checking on her phone?
Could it be that she or you have feed where she/you started sending to another iMessage address (phone number or email-address)? Please just check the settings on all your devices that you are sending and receiving on all devices with the same ID (phone number or mail address) and then perhaps start with a new feed.
Get her to look in settings > messages > send and receive and make sure that what ever address she is using for outgoing messages is the same on her computer as it is on her phone.
