I have downloaded many songs into iTunes from the Freegal dowload music service of the Sony music catalog offered through public libraries, including the Los Angeles Public Library. Some of the songs, such as classical music pieces, are more than 25 minutes long. Will iTunes Match store these songs?

If the tracks are in an acceptable format, bit rate is 96 Kbps or greater and file size is less than 200 mb, they will be uploaded if there is no match.

Thanks for your advice. I would also like to know if I can subcribe to iTunes Match using my iPod Classic and iMac version 10.6.8 (I don't have an iPhone, iPad or iTouch) . Also, can I subscribe to iTunes Match now with Snow Leopard on my computer and later upgrade to Mavericks without losing anything? Thanks.

You can subscribe on you imac with 10.6.8 and be able to sync with iPod as before - songs must still be on your computer. You will be able to upgrade OS without losing anything.
