itunes movies SLOW!!!

What is going on? Renting movies or homesharing them from library now takes 6+ hrs before I can watch them?!!?! ***? And no, it is not my broadband speed and no, it is not my wifi so don't bother telling me that it is. All else is working fine and fast.
