Hello everyone,
My AppleTV is no longer acknowledging that my laptop's home sharing is on and functioning and airplay is not working from Airparrot, my iphone or ipad.
Any suggestions on what to do?

everything is on the same network however the appletv is a wired connection and cant be wireless

Laptop, ipad, and iphone =wireless
The appletv's internet is functioning and so are the other devices. The airplay icon isnt showing up on the devices. Homesharing is turned on on every device involved.
im having the same issue. I used it last week on a different network and it worked fine, but it has just stopped working. My macbook and apple tv are both on the same network and both connected to the wifi with no problems. I have restarted home sharing on both the ATV and laptop, so all the details match, but they refuse to recognise anything anymore. I have disconnected the wifi and reconnected, I have shut both devices down and restarted, and checked for updates for both and still nothing.

Check the settings on the router. Some create seperate networks for the Wired and Wireless networks. If this is the case, AirPlay will not work.
