how to update Logic Pro 9 to Logic Pro X..!

I bought the App. (Logic Pro V.9) in April.

I'm trying to update it to the V.10 (Logic Pro X) , but i had been asked to re-buy the App..!

Please, advise how to update..!

by the way, i already updated My MacBook Pro to OS X Mavericks
