Is iWeb ASP or PHP?

My third party host said i had to select a hosting option Windows HOsting(ASP) or Linux hosting(PHP). Which format does iweb use??

eMac, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

I don't think it matters unless you plan on doing some more fancy stuff other than simple iWeb pages. But as long as you have a choice, why not select the server that has PHP capabilities. PHP can open up a whole wide world of dynamic web page possibities if you ever get interested in the future.

iWeb does not itself create sites containing either asp or php scripts, just plain xhtml and css. In my view, Linux hosting is always better than Windows. But sometimes there can be problems if the server is set up specifically for php without considering the requirements of xml/xhtml. Here are some tips:
