Q: how to reset imac password

It might be a little different depending on which mac OS x you. 1.click on the apple and select system preferences 2.click users and groups 3. hit change password. while you are doing this make sure the lock in the corner is unlocked. Also you can delete that account totally with the minus button and add a new one with the plus button That is it good luck
