apple keyboard and samsung smart tv

I have triedd connecting my Apple Keyboard to both my Apple Tv and my Samsung Smart Tv it cannot be detected. What am I doing wrong??

Can't comment on your S*****g products, but have you checked that your bluetooth keyboard and your Apple TV meet the requirements for pairing.
