I am having trouble sterting up my MacBook Pro that is running OS X 10.5.8. I have a blue screen that will not allow a typical start up. I started up in safe boot
but will only allow me to log into one of 3 users. Wondering if I need to clear up memory for start up. seem to have planty of overall disk space.

Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM:
performed SMC reset but not helpful. I am able to open to a log in page in safe boot but not into the administrator account. When attempting to log in administrator I get the blue screen for a few minutes, then back to log in screen. Any suggestions?
Are you running any anti-virus software? Any recently installed third-party applications?
I run boot camp. I had a virus on the windows side a few months ago.
So you sensibly run anti-virus on the Windows side. How about on the Apple OS side (where it is not required and may cause problems)
nothing on the mac side.
