Where can I find my computer's unique ID number? I have a Mac Pro (Dual Core Intel Xeon) running OS 10.5.8.

Which one? Do you mean the serial number, the system's UUID, or do you mean the MAC number?
I can find any of those. With a PC, it's easy to find the unique computer number. Do I assume that with a Mac they call that the UUID?

If I knew what you were looking for I could help better. There is no such animal as a "unique computer number." There is a MAC ID, however, which can be found using Network Preferences. It's also on the computer's ID plate on the rear of the computer.
