Transfers from Aperture 3.5 to Photoshop CC are unusable

I just upgraded to Aperture 3.5 from 3.0 and to Photoshop CC subscription from CS4. When I use the Aperture menu to edit in Photoshop, the resulting photo in Photoshop looks like a Venetian blind. I can export a PSD out of Aperture to the Desktop and open it in Photoshop and it looks normal. This is not a good work around. It creates double files and I cannot get it back into the Aperture library without a lot of extra effort.
