Why I can't install a purchased app on my own secondary Mac?

Hi all,

I've purchased and installed an app (a game) from App Store on my iMac. Now I want to install the same app on my secondary Mac (a Mac Book Pro), but in Purchased List the app is recognised as "installed" and I can't do anything.

Both Mac are running 10.9 OS X and the same App Store account. I've checked "Automatically download apps purchased on other Macs" on both Macs from System Preferences.

The developer says it can't help me because it depends on Apple.

How can I install that app also on my secondary Mac?

Someone please can help me?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
