Q: AirDrop - nearby?

Why can't I see other devices that are using AirDrop even though they are near by?

Hey Jshlpz,

Thanks for the question. If you are attempting to use AirDrop on your iPad, the following article outlines basic troubleshooting information:

iOS: Using AirDrop
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5887

One important note: AirDrop for iOS supports only iOS 7 devices. You cannot use AirDrop on iOS to share with OS X, and OS X users can't use AirDrop to share with iOS devices.

Airdrop is not seeing any other devices and your links really provide no troubleshooting.
