How can I upload old pictures in Iphoto on my MAC to Icloud

If you are using iPhoto 11...
Highlight the photo (s) you want to add to a stream and then click "add to" at the bottom right and select iCloud.
This will then give you the option to add them to an exisitng stream or create a new one.
