nrnissim,

I am running Mavericks as well and Skype does work for me. I would try uninstalling Skype and re-download the latest version from your site. I would also recommend in System Preferences under Security & Privacy. Allow apps downloaded from Mac App Store and identify developers. If the problem is still occurring try the anywhere option.

If this works let me know. If not I will still try and help. Best of luck.

Hi LordMunster, It's Feather6868 again I have another question you may be able to help me with? In Skype when I try to send a SMS message it tells me i have to buy credit??? I never had to pay for anything on Skype before and don't think I should have to now..Is there a way around that? Another question I have is On the Home page of Skype it say's they have Skype downloads for outlook for firefox and for mac's. right now I have the one for outlook! Which docent allow me to SMS! If I was to uninstall it. And install the one for Mac's would there be a difference? Would the Download for Mac's allow me to SMS is what I'm really asking? thanks for all your help🙂
