port replicator

Since the SuperDrive requires more than the USB specs/power can provide (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4049), has anyone had any success with finding a port replicator that will provide sufficient power for this external device?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
