Please help me. I am trying to play you tube videos on my 15.3 Retina Macbook Pro running Maverick's OS. Every other video works, but not you tube videos. You tube opens with everything it should, it just does NOT play any videos. Please help, as you tube is an important tool for my studies.

Thanks for the help. I can play youtube videos when I use Safari, but cant when I use Chrome. Any sugestions?

copy and paste into Chrome adress bar:
chrome://plugins/enter/return then enable Flash
or disable pepperflash plugin
/opt/google/chrome/PepperFlash/libpepflashplayer.soor disable vlc multimedia plugin

Because I have the precise same problem right now.
Weird thing is that the main video play on a user's channel page, but once you leave the page I only get nav bar.
Both Flash and Chrome is up to date for me.
Drining me crazy having to switch browsers all the time.
I had to disable Flash, then re-enable it. Bingo!
