Dec 22, 2013 12:44 PM in response to Skyhigh Airheadby C Hancock,Nearly the same way. I would prefer to be able to select the behaviour from:
- DO NOTHING
- Menu with options
- Instant sleep
- Shutdown
Other operating systems have managed this. I don't know why Apple insists on suddenly foisting a particular behaviour on people, especially when poor design decisions have been made on the placement of power keys on some devices in the first place.

Dec 22, 2013 12:52 PM in response to w7oxby C Hancock,Phil, it's great that the menu can still be accessed with a long press, but unfortunately that won't resume the downloads that get killed when accidentally tapping the power button sleeps the computer.
