Only 1.5 Gbps negotiated speed in a MacBook6,1
Hi. I am using a 64GB SanDisk (standard) SSD which is capable of SATA III speeds.
I am wondering why am I stuck on a SATA I link?
MacBook, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

is it installed where the hard drive normally would be, or did you install it where the optical bay is by removing the internal optical drive? The hard drive space is capable of 3 Gbps.
Nah. And I figured out what the problem is. The nvidia chipset only understands SATA 1 or SATA 2 SSDs, SATA 3 makes it revert to SATA 1 for safety. Nvidia hasn't updated that chipset for ages, so it's stuck with this "mindset".
What I need is either a firmware on the SSD that tricks the controller into believing it's a SATA 2 SSD, or an actual SATA 2 SSD.
