Only 1.5 Gbps negotiated speed in a MacBook6,1

Hi. I am using a 64GB SanDisk (standard) SSD which is capable of SATA III speeds.

I am wondering why am I stuck on a SATA I link?

Nah. And I figured out what the problem is. The nvidia chipset only understands SATA 1 or SATA 2 SSDs, SATA 3 makes it revert to SATA 1 for safety. Nvidia hasn't updated that chipset for ages, so it's stuck with this "mindset".

What I need is either a firmware on the SSD that tricks the controller into believing it's a SATA 2 SSD, or an actual SATA 2 SSD.
