This is the iPad forum. Are you talking about dialing from your iPhone or adding numbers to contacts in the general sense?


Anyway, check Apple's help topic about how to add pauses and such to a contact number. In general, dialing internationally can be done by prefixing the number with a + then the country code followed by the number. Example


+44 20 1234 5678 would dial a UK number.
