iPad died, now it won't turn on

My iPad died completely, so I plugged it in to charge. It shows the battery on the black screen showing that it's charging, then after a few seconds I get the apple logo, then the screen goes blank and it starts the whole process over again. I've left it plugged in for hours at a time and it keeps doing it. I used the regular charger that came with it, someone else's iPad charger, a store bought charger, an iPad car charger, and plugging in in to a regular desktop computer. It does the exact same thing. I tried doing a reset by holding the sleep and home key buttons down, and had absolutely no change. What is going on? It started after it died for the first time after I switched to iOS 7.
