Iphone 5 ios 7.0.3 I can't unlock my iPhone No response from the screen. Please HELP!

Can you power it off and on? Press the sleep button and wait for the slide to power off screen to appear. Swipe the bar from left to right. Once the phone has totally shut down press the sleep button again and hold it until the apple logo appears.

If this doesn't help try resetting your phone. Hold down both the Home and Sleep buttons at the same time and wait for the Apple logo to appear. It may take a while if you phone is really stuck. Just be patient and hold both buttons down until the logo appears. Once it appears release both buttons and wait for the phone to restart.

Restore is the next step in user troubleshooting. It could be a problem with the iOS. If that does not correct it, then you need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar at Apple to have the device checked for an equipment error.

I understand that you rebooted. I said a restore is the next step. You will need to either restore the device or go to Apple as I suggested. There appears to be a malfunction in the touch screen.

I'm having the same issue. Switched out my iPhone 5 for a 5s today and it's still happening on a brand new phone! Must be the iOS? It's so frustrating. Please advise if you received a solution. Thanks!

What "same issue"? If you have a brand new phone and whatever is happening, then you need to contact Apple. It isn't the iOS.

I'm having the same problem with my iphone 5.... when Slide to unlock doesn't work ... i just ask sri to call on any number and then i quickly end the call ... before it rings someone .....after doing this slide will work properly .... works for me..............

I have the same problem after I upgraded to ios7.1.2 last week. The biggest problem for me is that when there is an incoming call, I can't slide to unlock to answer it. This is really annoying, and I have to call back. But this is not a good solution for me. What can I do?

If you tried all of the "restore/reset tips online" then your final step is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have the hardware checked. It is possible that the touch screen is failing.
