Need help "Disk Utility Repair error

Recently my computer seems to be sluggish. I tried Disk utility "Verify Permissions", it gave me a whole bunch of errors and fixed them all apart from this, Warning: SUID file “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent

Tried Repair disk permission, and it couldnt fix it.

Than tried verify disks, which never finishes. It stops at "Checking Volume bitmap.." THan the progress bar disappears. The repair disk is greyed out..

Can anyone help?

I have reinstalled mavericks after the issue. I still have the same issue..

Thanks

Raj

You can safely ignore that warning.

Launch the Console app, select the Disk Utility.log, and see what it says. The Mavericks DU has a bug wherein when doing a disk verify or repair it fails to show the completed steps, but actually does do the job. If this appears after selecting a repair function, then it worked.

In any case, File a bug report with Apple. about this behavior.
