Q: Everytime I unlock my iPhone 4S and I'm playing music the music skips or goes to the next song for no reason. I am running the new iOS7. Anyone know why or how to stop this?

I'm listening to music on my phone and an email comes in. I go to unlock my phone to read the email and the music skips like if you bumped into a record player. Or it will even skip to the next track or two ahead of where I am currently listening to. Is this just an Apple problem with their coding or is there something I can do?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.3

If music is skipping on your iPhone when you unlock it, first try these steps:
If an app doesn't respond to your input, or doesn't perform as expected, do the following, testing after each step:
Check for app updates.
Force the app to close.
Restart your device.
Update your iOS device.
