Has ayone had trouble opening keynote after updating the app. When I click to open it says I have to update it, already updtated it. When I look in the app store it says updated. But I can't open my keynote.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Keynote on your Mac. You may have the current version of Keynote as well as the previous version in your Applications folder. When you click on a document, it may be pointing to the older version of Keynote, but you can change all your Keynote documents to open with the newest version of Keynote.
You can change the application a document will open with by navigating to the document in Finder and following these steps:
Permanently change the document’s app
- Select the document and choose File > Get Info.
- In the Info window, click the triangle next to “Open with” to expand the section.
- Choose an app from the pop-up menu, or choose Other to locate a different app.
- If you want to use that app to open all documents of the same type as the current document and created by the same app, click Change All.
