The Music app has stopped functioning on my iPhone 5s. It has worked for weeks and until this morning.


In iRadio, the selected "station" will remain active for a few moments then black out (lettering will turn red then black again).


Albums on the phone will appear to be playing, but no music is heard. (Yes, the volume is up.)


At the same time, the Airplay icon no longer appears when I attempt to have the music played through airplay speakers--instead the Airdrop icon only appears.


All of this since first thing this morning.


Any ideas why this would be occurring?

reset all settings

settings-general-reset-reset all settings

now reconnect to wifi

settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join

if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes
