Q: iCloud backup is giving me a message that it is unable to access my account, to go to my settings,the only thing wrong is that when I click on settings or the ignor button nothing happens. I can't even shut down my device. what can be wrong?

iCloud backup is giving me a message that it is unable to access my account to go to my settings. I try to choose settings or ignor buttons but nothing happens, I can't even turn off my device. Has anyone had this happen to them and how was it corrected. Thanks.

Hard Reset
Press and hold BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
