New wireless printer won't print, says communication error

I just installed a new wireless Epson XP-410 printer, the install went fine and works from my dell laptop but the iMac displays "communication error" in the queue. I have reset the printing system twice and reinstalled the printer twice. It could be a norton firewall issue but nothing shows as blocking for the printer.

This printer has a scanner function and that works fine. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.
