iPad 2 with cracked screen and damaged plug-in?

Sorry, what you're describing is accidental damage. And that's not covered under the warranty. I don't think Apple Care plus was ever offered on the iPad 2, so what you're looking at is an out of warranty replacement, which starts at $249 and goes up depending on the model.

Accidental damage or abuse is not covered by the warranty.

You could go to an Apple store for an out of warranty replacement for around $230.

The warranty will apply to the country of purchase. And if there is a problem needing repair you have to return it to the country of purchase.

Out-of-Warranty Service

If you own an iPad that is ineligible for warranty service but is eligible for Out-of-Warranty (OOW) Service, Apple will replace (Apple doesn't repair) your iPad with an iPad that is new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability for the Out-of-Warranty Service fee listed below.
