Hi, iphone 5S users! My wife and I just switched from the 4S on AT&T over to the 5S on Verizon. Our data usage has gone through the roof. On AT&T with the 4S we rarely exceeded 1 gb of data usage per month between us (on the 4gb shared plan), even under iOS 7.0.3, running iTunes Radio a lot in the car, etc. Now we're seeing over 2 gb usage (shared) in only 10 days even without using the iTunes Radio much.

Am I missing something? I've tried turning off my open apps that might access the cellular data network and changing the settings for apps so they don't receive notifications or auto refresh, but this is pretty extreme data usage, at least by comparison to our old service.

Is it LTE?

I/We do love our new phones, but this data usage concerns me.

Any ideas?

First, please understand that Verizon is a CDMA network while AT&T uses GSM.  Here are some differences:http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4515 These may not relate directly to cellular data, but hopefully this article can help you with cellular data use:http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4146
