At search on Finder (+) Plus button is missing

Not allways but some times on Mavericks using search on finder "cmd" + "f" the plus button is missing, I can't add options to my search because the is not there but is the minus button there. It comes and goes and I've no idea how to fix it.

Thanks

I've just encountered this. With a bit of trial and error, I discovered that the plus button doesn't show when you have the "All My Files" view open in Finder. From your screenshot that seems to be the case, at least that's what Google Translate tells me "Todos mis archivos" means.

Presumably this is because the "All My Files" view is a special view which probably has all sorts of filters built in and could interfere with any filters you add to the search.

Opening any other view, such as your hard drive, allows the plus to appear.
