iTunes can´t find iphone

I downloaded the new IOS so I needed to install a new version of iTunes.
Tried it, didn't work.
So i turned my iPhone off, iTunes still wouldn't find my iPhone.
Tried to install iTunes again a few times, and restarted my computer a few times.

Still not working.
So i removed iTunes completely from my computer and downloaded it again.
And my iTunes still doesn't find mt iPhone.
My computer is seeing dat my iPhone is on the computer, i can scroll through my pictures and such on my computer...
What can I do to get iTunes to make a connection with my iPhone 4?
