Accessory Connected screen on iPod etc.

You can cancel the Accessory Connected screen on your Apple device by pressing the MODE button on your receiver's remote control. You may control the iPlayer from the device itself or from the receiver's remote control but not both at the same time. This works with Yamaha AV receivers.

Some stereo receiver manufacturers have an app on the iTunes store which can obviate the Accessory Connected screen.
