Q: iPhone 5s screen repair cost...?

I went into my local apple store yesterday to see if they would cover my cracked iphone 5s screen and was given a quote of $269 to have the screen replaced... Does anyone know if that sounds about right...? I personally think that it's a little excessive... I only had my phone for about 2 weeks and accidently damaged the touch screen by dropping it... Does anyone know if that's a fair price...?

    Okay! Thank you for the advice! I also edited this question into my original post and you know your stuff so I'm just going to repaste and ask you directly! I had been having major firmware issues with my phone since I bought it, and had been to the apple store on three different occassions (each time I was sent home to do the same exact thing), and the problems still haven't been fixed. I had been planning on going to the apple store to talk to them about my phone again when the drop happened and I got a crack on my phone. Will any warranty by voided because of my cracked phone (aka, are all chances of them replacing my phone because of the firmware gone because I cracked my phone?)

    You voided the warranty when you cracked the iPhone.

    Radio Shack is now doing repairs. $129 for a new screen. Authentic Apple replacement parts.

    Not quite.

    Apple does not sell parts and Radio Shack is not an Apple Authorized Service Center.

    Why are you lying?

    Are you now saying they don't change screens?

    I never said radio shack is not changng screens .

     

    They are not an AASP.

    They don't get parts from Apple.

     

    Getting your screen changed at Radio Shack will void the warranty.
