Move MP3 files in Music Library to iPod iOS 4.2.1

Hello,

I can add files to my Music Library, but can anyone tell me how I can put them on my iPod 2 Gen iOS 4.2.1? Is it possible to keep them in the same folders I have the MP3 files in on my computer? I even tried "Sync" and it did nothing. I would apprecaite any and all suggestions. I'm not a big iTunes user, but I would like to put the music my mother likes on the iPod and I just bought a Copello Wireless Speaker/Docking system so that she can listen to her music without using those ear plugs and/or head phones.

When the iPod is seen by your iTunes Library, look on the Device/Music pane; is it as shown in the screenshot?

You need Sync Music "on"
If Selected Playlists... is selected, make sure that the new songs are in a Playlist you are syncing and look at the next screenshot
If Entire Library is selected, look at the next screenshot

If this option is selected, make sure the songs are ticked:

If you have to change any of these settings, make sure you press the Sync button to ensure these new changes take effect.
