So i have an old ipod touch a iphone 4 and an ipad2 when i plug any of them into my usb it doenst show up in itunes!

So i have an old ipod touch a iphone 4 and an ipad2 when i plug any of them into my usb it doenst show up in itunes so there is no way of actually syncing the device! i have unistalled itunes and reinstalled it and still nothing! help me as i need music for my uni course and it is a big part of it and i cant get the music on any devices!!!!!
