Pairing and syncing contacts, last calls and fav.contacts to Kia Sportage 2013

Hello guys.

Would love to get your help on something.

I have an Iphone 4S with IOS7.0.3, and yesterday I bought a new car. A Kia Sportage 2013 with navi system\bluetooth.

Tried to connect and it worked fine, BUT my contacts, last calls and fav.contacts will not sync with the it.This should be automatic!

So my friend tried with his Iphone wich also has IOS7.0.3 and it did sync just fine. So my dad tried with his Samsung galaxy S3 and it synced just fine. So I tried again and still nothing!

Please people, what should I do?

PS! yes, I can recieve and make calls but I have to manually enter the number wich then doesnt show who I am calling....

Hello there KiaSportage,

It sounds like you are trying sync your contacts and other information to your vehicle via Bluetooth but it doesnt work on your phone, whereas it works on other peoples phones.

I suggest these steps for you from the article named:

iOS: How to troubleshoot Bluetooth connections

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4562

  1. Check that you are in range of the Bluetooth device with which you are trying to pair your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Most Bluetooth devices have a range of approximately 30 feet.
  2. On your iOS device, tap Settings > Bluetooth and find your device in the list. If your device says Not Connected, tap the name of your device to attempt to connect it.
  3. Tap Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and then on again.
  4. Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and fully charged or connected to power.
  5. Restart your iOS device.
  6. Tap Settings > Bluetooth and locate the Bluetooth accessory you are currently connected to or attempting to connect to. Then tapUser uploaded fileand Forget this Device. Try to pair your Bluetooth accessory again.

Note: You may need to re-enter your Bluetooth accessory PIN if your accessory requires one. Some common PINs are 0000, 1111, and 1234.

  7. Restart your Bluetooth accessory by turning it off and then on again1.
  8. Update your device to the latest version of software. See how to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  9. If your Bluetooth accessory has upgradeable firmware, check to see that you have the latest version1, 2.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, try out one of these steps, depending on the symptoms you are seeing from the same article:
