With iOS 6 without the backup and restore? I'm desperate.

You can't revert to iOS 6 even if you do backup and restore.
Once iOS 7 is installed, you can't revert.
You cannot go back at all
Despise is a strong word for a 13 year old.
Besides not liking it, is there anything specific that is causing issue with you using the phone?

you cant revert the ios software.

- it lags so much I can barely type, for instance I will type a sentence and it will still be typing it when I stop
- EVERYTIME I'm on safari, it crashes at least twice
- the new updated apps for iOS 7 are crap
There are so many reasons, I can't name them all. I also don't really like the layout.
try this
reset all settings
settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes

Thank you for that. The thing is, I'm just really not happy with the layout of my iPhone when it's on iOS 7. Most of the time, I can deal with the apps. It's just I liked the look of the iOS 6?
I mainly have a problem with the layout. If I'm honest, I liked the look of iOS 6.
