Transferring app between my iPhone and iPad mini?

I just bought the new iPad mini w/ retina, and it's awesome. I have an app on my iPhone 5 called "The Oxford Dictionary of the Classical World" and I use it constantly. I want it on my new Ipad, but it dosen't seem to be available in the app store any longer. Can I transfer it from my phone somehow?

Dear JMRT,

thanks for the respond, however, this is the way I would do it if i would have purchased on my iphone/ipad first and would like to have it on my Mac. but in my case I bought it on the MAC first and would now like to have it on iphone.

It works with most of the other apps, but those two no, although they are also made for iphone/ipda.

So the question is how to getit from Mac to phone?

Cheers

Hello inlklap,

If the App is on your mac, you should have it available for sync. Just connect your phone to the computer, open iTunes and on the left side you should have your device's name and it will open the summary page, then, bellow the apple on the top center of your screen you will see "Apps". You just have to search for the App on the list and press "install". For last, just press apply on the bottom right.

Cheers
