Rename @icloud.com email address

Hello everyone!!!

Just wanting to know if it is possible to rename an @icloud.com email address. You see, recently, I changed my primary address (which uses a different mail client) and my iTunes account was changed to that primary email. Now, I would like to use the prefix of my new email in my iCloud email. I'm sorry if you don't understand, but as I am desperate, just ask any questions and I will reply ASAP.

Thanks,

Yebbut

You can't change and @icloud.com address without creating a new iCloud account. You can, however, add an alias @icloud.com address of your choosing that will receive email in your current iCloud inbox, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a. Just be aware that once you create an alias address it cannot later be used to create a new iCloud account, or be moved to another account or be reactivated if you ever delete it.
