PowerPC app (Entourage) not supported after upgrade

Hi,

Ive just installed Maverick and my email held in Entourage is not able to open/no longer supported?

Andy ideas. help?

You're using a PPC version of Entourage - quite old. You have two choices - begin using Apple's Mail or another email client or upgrading your version of MS Office for Mac to the 2011 version.


It's unlikely that any of your other Office apps will work, either.

About the only thing you can do is save all your files, including your email files, and revert your system back to Snow Leopard so Entourage can run under Rosetta.


There are several ways to do that. Easiest is from a time machine backup made prior to you upgrading to Mavericks.



PPC app haven't run on the newer OS X versions now for 2.5 years. Since Lion came out in mid 2011.
